Please Note

If you haven't signed up for a particular trip, there may be a spare seat on the bus if someone sleeps in or forgets to cancel. There are usually a couple of empty seats. They are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Walk-On seats cannot be reserved. The only way you can get on a waiting list is by sending in a cheque. Guests ($30 for Non Members)are especially welcome but need to reserve like everyone else and are charged $30 bus fee instead of $25.

To sign up for bus trips follow the instructions below:

  1. Choose which bus trips you wish to take from the trip schedule.
  2. Make out a separate cheque for $25 for each bus trip or $50 for two people. (Most of our members send in their cheques for the entire skiing season in early December.) The trail fee is extra and is collected in cash ($15-$22) on the bus. Walk-ons (standbys) and non-members are charged $30.00.
  3. Date each cheque with the date of the bus trip.
  4. On the Front of each cheque put the destination (e.g. Horseshoe #2).
  5. On the Front of each cheque put your  email address. Please indicate York Mills if you are being picked up there.
  6. Write down which trips you signed up for and save it.
  7. Mail your cheques to:
    Scarborough Cross Country Ski Club
    111 Milford Haven Dr
    Scarborough, Ontario
    M1G 3C9
  8. Assume all buses are going unless you are emailed. That's why your email is on the cheque. If a trip is cancelled, you will get an email. If a trip is cancelled it will also be on the website and Facebook. Please note that our bus trips are not cancelled because the sign-up numbers are too low. We only cancel trips because of poor conditions or very bad weather. If we cancel, you will be emailed Friday.
  9. You can cancel up to and including Tuesday 6 pm by emailing jhackert@scarboroughskiclub.org. After that your cheque will be cashed without exceptions.
