Hiking
is a great exercise and provides an opportunity to observe nature
close to hand. Hiking is an exercise that can add years to your
life and make those extra years more enjoyable. It is also a stress
reliever and an aid to a healthy mind. It is important that hikers
spend time maintaining trails so that other hikers can stay on paths
in sensitive areas and also avoid degrading environmentally sensitive
plants or habitat. When hiking, take only pictures, and leave only
footprints!
