The club is disbanding after almost 50 years for a number of reasons. The city has cancelled insurance for community groups. So insurance for the club is expensive and coverage is spotty. The covid lockdown meant that we would have to start over but buses are in short supply and very expensive. The weather and the lack of skiing locations is an additional problem. Those interested in group skiing should join the Outdoors Club of East York.
